ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ 2020ರ ಕೊನೆಯ 72ನೇ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯ ಮನ್ಕೀ ಬಾತ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀರಂಗಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿನ ವೀರಭದ್ರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವ ಯುವ ಬ್ರಿಗೇಡ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
2014 ರಿಂದ 2018ರವರೆಗೆ ಚಿರತೆಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾತರವು ಶೇ.68 ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಚಿರತೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೇ ಹುಲಿ, ಸಿಂಹಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಕಂಡಿದೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಏಕ ಬಳಕೆ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಭಾರತದಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಸವನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಭಾರತ್ ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಮೊದಲ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಎನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದುದು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲೂ ತಯಾರಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಕನಸಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯರು ದೇಶಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಾಶಸ್ತ್ಯ ನೀಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಕಾತರನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಮೇಡ್ ಇನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಟಿಕೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಜನ ಮುಂದಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂತಸದ ಸಂಗತಿ ಎಂದರು.
