ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಕಾಕ್ರೋಚ್ ಜನತಾ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ (CJP) ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಅಶುತೋಷ್ ರಾಂಕಾ(Ashutosh Ranka) ಮತ್ತು ಸೌರವ್ ದಾಸ್(Saurav Das) ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ಬಂಧನದ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಸ್ಟ್ರೇಟ್ (Special Executive Magistrate) ಇನ್ನೂ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಶಾಂತಿಗೆ ಭಂಗ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದೆಹಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಾದಿಸಿ ಕಸ್ಟಡಿ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಜಂತರ್‌ ಮಂತರ್‌ಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು ಬಾಂಡ್‌ ಷರತ್ತು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಅ.14 ರಂದು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರು. 5 ದಿನಗಳ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ಕಸ್ಟಡಿ ಅವಧಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಸ್ಟ್ರೇಟ್ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಾಜರುಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯವು ಬಂಧನದ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆರಡು ದಿನ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿದೆ.

ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಳಂಬ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಸಿಜೆಪಿ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕಾನೂನು ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದೆಹಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
