ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ (Jammu Kashmir) ದೋಡಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಗ್ರರ ಜೊತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎನ್ಕೌಂಟರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ (Encounter) ಓರ್ವ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನಾ (Indian Army) ಯೋಧರು ಹುತಾತ್ಮರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ಅಡಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಖಚಿತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದೋಡಾದ (Doda) ದೇಸಾದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾತ್ರಿ 9 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ಉಗ್ರರ ಜೊತೆ ಗುಂಡಿನ ಕಾಳಗ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಗ್ರರು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಿತುಕೊಂಡು ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು 500 ಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಿಂದ ಟ್ರಕ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿ ಗ್ರೆನೇಡ್ ಎಸೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಉಗ್ರರು ಅಸಾಲ್ಟ್ ರೈಫಲ್ ಬಳಸಿ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಜಮ್ಮು ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಮ್ಮು ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಮತದಾನ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. ಳೆದ 32 ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜಮ್ಮು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಗ್ರರ ಜೊತೆಗಿನ ಕಾಳಗದಲ್ಲಿ 48 ಯೋಧರು ಹುತಾತ್ಮರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
