ನವದೆಹಲಿ: 14ನೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ರಾಮನಾಥ್ ಕೋವಿಂದ್ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಶ್ವರನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ, ನಿಷ್ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕೋವಿಂದ್ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಭವನಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಕೋವಿಂದ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಜಿಎಸ್. ಖೇಹರ್ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸಂಸತ್ ಆವರಣದ ಹೊರಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ 21 ಸುತ್ತು ಕುಶಾಲು ತೋಪು ಸಿಡಿಸಿ ಮೂಲಕ ನೂತನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಂದ್, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಯಂತಹ ಹುದ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ. ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಬು ಅವರಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿಯಂತದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಾಯಕರು ಈ ಹುದ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ಏರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 125 ಕೋಟಿ ಜನರ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ನನಗೆ ಈ ಹುದ್ದೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಹಮಿದ್ ಅನ್ಸಾರಿ, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ, ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸ್ಪೀಕರ್ ಸುಮಿತ್ರಾ ಮಹಾಜನ್, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವರು, ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು, ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳು, ಸಂಸದರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಲಿಟರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
