ಕೋಲ್ಕತಾ: ಕೊರೊನಾ ಅಟ್ಟಹಾಸದ ನಡುವೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಡಿಶಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಫಾನ್ ಚಂಡಮಾರುತ ರೌದ್ರನರ್ತನ ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದ್ದು, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ ಅಕ್ಷರಶಃ ಚಂಡಮಾರುತದ ಆರ್ಭಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಲುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ.

ಅಂಫಾನ್ ಚಂಡಮಾರುತದ ಅಬ್ಬರಕ್ಕೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ವಿವಿಧ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 72 ಮಂದಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ 72 ಮಂದಿ ಪೈಕಿ 15 ಮಂದಿ ಕೋಲ್ಕತ್ತಾದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇತರೆ ಐದು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಾವು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ ಸಿಎಂ ಮಮತಾ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ಜಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Tomorrow, PM @narendramodi will travel to West Bengal and Odisha to take stock of the situation in the wake of Cyclone Amphan. He will conduct aerial surveys and take part in review meetings, where aspects of relief and rehabilitation will be discussed.

ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 10.30ಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋಲ್ಕತ್ತಾಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಲಿರುವ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಮಮತಾ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ಜಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಸಿಎಂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಸಚಿವರು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂಡಮಾರುತಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿರುವ ಉತ್ತರ ಹಾಗೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಭಾಗದ ವೈಮಾನಿಕ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
NDRF teams are working in the cyclone affected parts. Top officials are closely monitoring the situation and also working in close coordination with the West Bengal government.
No stone will be left unturned in helping the affected.

ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಗಾಳಿಯ ವೇಗ 190 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರಾಕಾರ ಮಳೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಬ್ಬರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಫಾನ್ ನಿಂದ ಸುಂದರಬನ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಆರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳು ತತ್ತರಿಸಿವೆ. ಒಡಿಶಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಾಣಹಾನಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇತ್ತ ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶದಲ್ಲೂ ಚಂಡಮಾರುತದ ಆರ್ಭಟ ಜೋರಾಗಿದ್ದು, 26 ಮಂದಿ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದಾಜು 88 ಸಾವಿರ ಹೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಭತ್ತದ ಬೆಳೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಮಾರು 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ಹೆಕ್ಟರ್ ತರಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಬೆಳೆಗಳು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿ ಸಹಿತ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಹಾನಿಗೊಳಗಾಗಿದೆ. ಎರಡು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತರ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಭರದಿಂದ ಸಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಎನ್ಡಿಆರ್ಎಫ್ ತಂಡ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 6.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಒಡಿಶಾದಲ್ಲಿ 44 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಮಂದಿ ಚಂಡಮಾರುತದಿಂದ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
We are closely monitoring the cyclone Amphan and are in continuous touch with concerned authorities.
I have also spoken to CM Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik ji & CM West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee ji over situation arising due to the cyclone and assured all possible help from centre.
