ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ವಿಂಗ್ ಕಮಾಂಡರ್ ತರುಣ್ ಚೌಧರಿ ಅವರು 8,500 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದಿಂದ ವಿಂಗ್ಸೂಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಕೈಡೈವಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ವಾಯು ಸೇನಾ ಪೈಲೆಟ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜುಲೈ 22ರಿಂದ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜೋಧ್ಪುರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಂಗ್ ಕಮಾಂಡರ್ ತರುಣ್ ಚೌಧರಿ ಅವರು ವಿಂಗ್ಸೂಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಗ್-17 ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್ ದಿಂದ 8,500 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಸ್ಕೈಡೈವಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಐಎಎಫ್ ವಿಡಿಯೋವೊಂದನ್ನು ಟ್ವಿಟ್ಟರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ, “ವಿಂಗ್ ಕಮಾಂಡರ್ ತರುಣ್ ಚೌಧರಿ ಅವರು ಜುಲೈ 21, 2019ರಂದು ವಿಂಗ್ಸೂಟ್ ಧರಿಸಿ ಮಿಗ್-17 ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್ ನಿಂದ ಸ್ಕೈಡೈವಿಂಗ್ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಂಗ್ಸೂಟ್ ಧರಿಸಿ ಸ್ಕೈಡೈವಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಐಎಎಫ್ ಪೈಲೆಟ್ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಇವರು ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
The jump was accomplished from a Mi-17 helicopter from an altitude of 8500 feet.
This was the first flying wing suit jump demonstration at an organised gathering. The jump was undertaken during the Kargil Diwas celebrations at Air Force Station Jodhpur on 21-22 Jul 19.

ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಟ್ವೀಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ, ತರುಣ್ ಚೌಧರಿ ಅವರು ಮಿಗ್-17 ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್ನಿಂದ 8500 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಜಿಗಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂಘಟಿತ ಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಫ್ಲೈಯಿಂಗ್ ವಿಂಗ್ ಸೂಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಕೈಡೈವಿಂಗ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜೋಧಪುರ್ನ ಏರ್ ಫೋರ್ಸ್ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜುಲೈ 22ರಿಂದ 28 ರವರೆಗೆ 20ನೇ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಜಂಪ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಬರೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
The feat is the deepest imprint of ethos and professionalism of IAF , be it adventures or operations.
