ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ತಂಡ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಟೂರ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ಲೇ ಆಫ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲು ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಮುಂಬೈ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ಸ್ ಪ್ಲೇ ಆಫ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆಯದ ಕುರಿತ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಜಿಂಟಾರ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈರಲ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಜಿಂಟಾ, ಮುಂಬೈ ಪ್ಲೇ ಆಫ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಪಂಜಾಬ್ಗೆ ಪ್ಲೇ ಆಫ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ತಾನು ಆ ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು. ಆದರೆ ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ ಗೆಲುವು ಪಡೆಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಚೆನ್ನೈ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಮ್ಮ ಸೋಲು ಪ್ಲೇ ಆಫ್ ನಿಂದ ದೂರ ಉಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು. ಯಾವುದೇ ತಂಡ ಕೇವಲ ಗೆಲುವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಾಣಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ಸೋಲು ಸಮನಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
