ಢಾಕಾ: 10 ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಭಾರತದ ಹಾಕಿ ತಂಡ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಕಪ್ ಗೆದ್ದು ಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಮಲೇಷ್ಯಾ ತಂಡವನ್ನು 2-1 ಗೋಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಭಾರತ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ನಗೆ ಬೀರಿದೆ.
ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಆರಂಭದ ಮೂರು ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ರಮಣ್ ದೀಪ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮೊದಲ ಗೋಲು ಬಾರಿಸಿದರೆ, 29ನೇ ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಲಿತ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಗೋಲು ಬಾರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾರತ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮುನ್ನಡೆ ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟರು. 50ನೇ ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಹರಿಲ್ ಸಬಾಹ್ ಅವರು ಒಂದು ಗೋಲು ಹೊಡೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಲೇಷ್ಯಾ ಖಾತೆ ತೆರೆಯಿತು.
2003ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೌಲಾಲಾಂಪುರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನವನ್ನು 4-2 ಗೋಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಣಿಸಿದ್ದ ಭಾರತ 2007ರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆನ್ನೈನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕೊರಿಯಾವನ್ನು 7-2 ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಣಿಸಿ ಎರಡನೇ ಬಾರಿ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಕಪ್ ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕೊರಿಯಾವನ್ನು 6-3 ಗೋಲುಗಳ ಅಂತರದಿಂದ ಪರಾಭವಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಕಂಚು ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜಾಸ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಹ್ಯಾಟ್ರಿಕ್ ಗೋಲು ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದರು.
