ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ದಿನಾಂಕ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದ ತೈಲ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿ ಲೀಟರ್‌ ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲ್‌ ಮತ್ತು ಡೀಸೆಲ್‌ ಬೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 2 ರೂ. ಕಡಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ದರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್‌ 15 ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 6 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ಜಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಬೆಲೆ ಇಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ 58 ಲಕ್ಷ ಸರಕು ವಾಹನ, 6 ಕೋಟಿ ಕಾರುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 27 ಕೋಟಿ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲಿಯಂ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಗೃಹ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಎಲ್‌ಪಿಜಿ ದರವನ್ನು ಇಳಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು.
