ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮೊದಲ ಇಫ್ತಾರ್ ಕೂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಜಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಗಣ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳು ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದವು. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ವಕ್ತಾರರಾದ ರಣ್ದೀಪ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸೂರಜ್ವಾಲಾ ಅವರು, ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ತಮ್ಮ ಆಹ್ವಾನವನ್ನು ಮನ್ನಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಟ್ವಿಟ್ಟರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ 2015 ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಂಜಾನ್ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಇಫ್ತಾರ್ ಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಇದಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಅವರು ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಅಧಕ್ಷರಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಇಫ್ತಾರ ಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಉಪರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಹಮೀದ್ ಅನ್ಸಾರಿ, ಮಾಜಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಯಕರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾಗ್ಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ಹಲವು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊರಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು. ಸ್ವತಃ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರಿ ಸಹ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಿಡಿಕಾರಿದ್ದರು.
