ಚೆನ್ನೈ/ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಬಂಗಾಳಕೊಲ್ಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾರ್ ಸೈಕ್ಲೋನ್ ಆರ್ಭಟ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿಗೆ ತಡರಾತ್ರಿ ಎಂಟ್ರಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಇದೀಗ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಗಾಳಿ ಸಹಿತ ತುಂತುರು ಮಳೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಾಮಲ್ಲಾಪುರಂ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರೈಕಲ್ ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಎಂಟ್ರಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸೈಕ್ಲೋನ್, ಗಂಟೆಗೆ 120 ಕಿಲೋ ಮೀಟರ್ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಚಂಡಿ ಅಬ್ಬರಕ್ಕೆ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು, ಪುದುಚೇರಿ ತತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ.

ನಿನ್ನೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ 11.30ರ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ಪುದುಚೇರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿದ ನಿವಾರ್, ಇಂದು ನಸುಕಿನ ಜಾವ 2.30ರ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿಗೆ ಎಂಟ್ರಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ನಸುಕಿನ ಜಾವ 3ರ ಬಳಿಕ ಚಂಡಮಾರುತದ ತೀವ್ರತೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ತಗ್ಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಮಾರುತ ಮುಂದಿನ 3 ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ 60-65 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ವೇಗ ಪಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಗಾಳಿಯ ವೇಗ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ 145 ಕಿಲೋ ಮೀಟರ್ ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ 110-120 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದ ಸೈಕ್ಲೋನ್ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಸೈಕ್ಲೋನ್ ಪ್ರಭಾಗ ತಗ್ಗಿದರೂ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ.
